YOOKiE’s new single PROJECT 9 is solely designed to decimate every crowd it passes through.
The duo’s production is once again on point, creating a deadly pairing of skill and dancefloor potential. The brothers’ latest cut follows a string of massive releases that have gained YOOKiE a reputation for consistently raising the bar, not forgetting last year’s collaborations with Slander, Black Tiger Sex Machine and Wooli.
Speaking on PROJECT 9, YOOKiE point out that “when we think about this track, we hear a giant wall of bass pounding through our nipples. PROJECT 9 represents our bass music mantra from its very core – to have this record selected by Bassrush is a great honour. We are super stoked!”
PROJECT 9 is YOOKiE’s first stand-alone release of 2018. The boys are fresh off two compilation lead tracks; the first taken from Deadbeats’ most recent compilation and the second being a collab with Jauz and Josh Pan, for the latest Bite This! compilation.
YOOKiE are ready to storm into festival season, recently announcing their first appearance at EDC Vegas.
Fellow bass music pioneer Jauz said, “I’ve known the YOOKiE boys for a few years now, their managers have been friends of mine for a long time and so I’ve gotten to see their growth from almost day one. It’s been really cool to see an act so committed to being different and out there rise through the ranks. It seems like the weirder their music gets, the more people like it. That’s a really incredible place to be.”
