Following his Takeover (VIP Remix) release earlier this month, Zardonic enlists drum and bass heavyweight Pythius and the fiercely charismatic MC Coppa for a remix of his “Children of Tomorrow” track, marking the second rework from his forthcoming LP, The Become Remix Album.
The Venezuelan artist, also known as Federico Ágreda Álvarez, is a favorite among EDM heads and metalheads alike, with chart-topping tracks on Beatport, Amazon, and iTunes, and remixes for acts ranging from Black Sun Empire to Bullet for My Valentine. Zardonic has also received three Drum & Bass Arena Awards.
Zardonic’s pummelling, cross-genre beats defy metal music’s anti-electronic cultism and resonate with music fans who worship energy above all else. About Children Of Tomorrow, he explains: “I feel immensely privileged to be able to make this release happen. The vision of the original track was related to the 2017 riots in Venezuela, and when I asked Coppa to put lyrics on it, he channelled the concept entirely. It couldn’t have come with a better message, and I am happy to call him a friend.”
Now Pythius’s explosive remix takes the original to even bigger heights. Zardonic, adds, “With Pythius remixing the track, it’s brought to a whole new level. It’s the perfect upgrade for the current time.”
Raising expectations for his upcoming The Become Remix LP as part of his exclusive deal with music company eOne, (home of multi-platinum selling legends including the likes of The Game and Zakk Wylde), Zardonic continues his mission of taking over airwaves across the world, and his far-reaching influence is only set to grow from here.
