As a fast rising singer & songwriter, Aaron Richards shot for the stars and covered a hit single of the biggest name in pop, Justin Bieber; and he certainly delivered.

With the help of New Jersey native Direct, Aaron Richards takes the viral acoustic version and converts it into an an enrapturing and somber ballad. With such high expectations with covering the new undisputed king of pop, Aaron Richards certainly did not disappoint.

About Aaron Richards

Born to a military family on the Pacific island of Guam, Aaron grew up in Southern California with an affinity for all things music, especially singing. After a brief stint driving semi-trucks all across North America, he moved to New York City where he spent an incredible year growing in his musical and creative pursuits. He currently resides outside of Los Angeles, back in his home state.

Early in 2015, Aaron would release his debut 2-track EP titled ‘This Heart of Mine’, followed by a reworking of one track by producer GLXYFX. Next, he teamed up briefly with a new group called ‘Ocean Avenue’ to record a highly popular cover of ‘Where Are Ü Now’ by Justin Bieber, Skrillex and Diplo, but would quickly depart citing creative differences.

He followed this up with a cover of The Weeknd’s hit song, ‘In The Night’. When producer Jasper Dietze approached him about doing a remix, Aaron liked his work and sent over the stems. This remix became a viral sensation and, with limited marketing, quickly rose to millions upon millions of plays and streams across various platforms.

In 2016, Aaron began lending his voice and songwriting talents to electronic music producers in affiliation with the acclaimed EDM label Monstercat. After releasing three stunning original tracks, two of them (Matches & Synchronize) would later be featured on the label’s ‘Best of 2016’ compilation by a popular vote from the fans.

2017 brought about a short hiatus for Aaron, but he is currently busy collaborating with producers and artists from all over the world on a new project series that we’re very excited about, so stay tuned!
