It’s some serious remix action coming your way this week, courtesy of the team at Sony Music Belgium and the Absynthe Minded collective.
The Belgian outfit, who’ve recently come back after a little creative breakaway, dropped their latest single “Surrender” at the top of the month and return with a slew of remixes of said track to give you some different sounds.
Remix duties are handled by a trio of producers who have put their own stamp on the smash hit: blackwave., Nico Morano and Stacciatella. Each provides a unique take on “Surrender” which give this remix EP a broad appeal with its range of styles.
Stacciatella’s remix is an atmospheric, minimal and down-tempo reimagining, while blackwave. gives it a head-nod feel with sharp drums and piano loops. Nico Morano takes “Surrender” to the dancefloor with a cheeky, melodic house number to capture the imagination.
