Following his previous label release, “UMBRA (feat. Voicians),” the second most-voted song on Monstercat’s ‘Best of 2022,’ melodic riddim commander Ace Aura makes his anticipated return to Monstercat Uncaged today, teaming up with bass maestro NAZAAR and vocalist Dani King for their first collaboration, “I’ll Be Waiting.”

Showcasing their limitless production stylings, Ace Aura and NAZAAR intertwine an innovative blend of melodic riddim chords and uplifting bass stabs with a techno buildup on the record. The genre-defying track is bound to capture hearts as Dani King’s awe-inspiring vocals lead with affectionate lyricism inspired by feelings of finding a soulmate. Fans can hear the new record live during Ace Aura’s debut headline tour, ‘Crystal Coalition,’ and at NAZAAR’s Paradise Blue Festival set.

Ace Aura shares, “NAZAAR and I played a show together a couple years back in Austin, TX and decided we wanted to work on a track together. He then sent me a melodic idea he had started and then I worked on it and fleshed it out a bit, but it kinda just sat there for a long time. We had realized what the song was missing was a good vocal, so we reached out to Dani and she was most definitely the missing piece!”

NAZAAR adds, “‘I’ll Be Waiting’ has been in the works for nearly 2 years now! I sent the concept for the collab over to Eric, and after a few months of back and forth we finally got to a stage where we knew something was missing. That’s when we contacted Dani to help us. Dani is a person we knew through common connections, and both of us had heard many songs from her, and just knew she’d be the perfect fit.”

Dani King comments, “Ace Aura and NAZAAR reached out to me with the instrumental, wanting to create a song called “I’ll Be Waiting.” They gave me creative freedom to come up with the lyrical content, and based on their production I wanted this to be more uplifting than sad. I wanted the idea to not come from desperation, but based around the idea that you’ve found your person. I was inspired by my partner in life, who has always been a grounding force in my life.”

Ace Aura’s forward-thinking dexterity and championship in the future riddim lane has seen him climbing heights in the bass scene in just a few years. His virtuosic musicianship has gained the likes of electronic tastemakers such as Skrillex, Zeds Dead, and Subtronics, who he shares a credit with and opened a sold out show at Red Rocks for. Ace Aura has landed on multiple ‘Artists to Watch’ lists including Dancing Astronaut, EDM.com, and Beatportal to name a few.

Dominating the live space with a handful of shows and festivals including Lost Lands and COUNTDOWN last year, he’s set for a bigger year than ever in 2023 as he’s already opened for Excision at Thunderdome, embarked on his debut headline tour, ‘Crystal Coalition,’ and has more performances to announce.

Stepping into producing at the ripe age of 14, NAZAAR has explored many sides of music from hip-hop to electronic. He balances the life of being a Pre-law student at The University of Texas and also a touring DJ, previously taking to venues and festivals including Lost Lands, COUNTDOWN, Academy in Los Angeles, Substation in Seattle, and shortly to Excision’s annual Paradise Blue Festival. He’s been supported by the likes of Illenium, Alison Wonderland, Sullivan King, and more, and is gearing up to produce more festival bangers to be released soon.

Singer and songwriter Dani King has been singing since the age of 3, and has effortlessly mastered her meticulous crafts, becoming a highly sought-after topliner in the electronic dance scene. She’s worked with an eclectic range of artists from one of Monstercat’s very own, Bishu, on “Worst Behaviour,” to Riot Ten and Gem & Tauri.
