Anyone who has followed Alesso down the years knows that the Swedish superstar rose to stardom with his progressive house roots that led to some epic releases like “Clash”, “City Of Dreams” and loads more.
Over the past year or so, Alesso’s evolution has taken him to the more dance-pop side of electronic music which does sound good, fans have been yearning for him to return to a sound that he came to call his own.
2019 has seen that happen, with his “Progresso” EP hinting at a return to his old sound, although at a slightly less tempo. His Tomorrowland 2019 set was no different, with some epic progressive house music forming the crux of it. The most exciting part, however, is that Alesso proceeded to play an unprecedented 11 mashups in his set.
