Amidy expands his portfolio on Lost In Dreams Records with his follow-up single, “Coming Back To You,” an emotive melodic bass creation that follows the fight to make amends with a former lover.

On the hind legs of his label debut in March, “Ever Known,” the L.A-based singer and producer circles back with his sophomore release. “Coming Back To You” finds him flexing his lyrical prowess once again, this time honing in on the theme of forgiveness.

Amidy’s distinct vocal work shines through to perfection on his euphonious creation. Soul-stirring guitar riffs are complemented by the sharp pop of suspense-raising snare hits, which shadow an unshakable resolve to win over the heart of the proverbial “one that got away.” Once his case has been made, a soaring guitar synth extends its arms out over the climactic hook, driving home an irrefutable argument to reach reconciliation.

“Ever messed something up so much and just want to press the undo button? Well, that idea is what my new song “Coming Back To You” is about,” says Amidy. “I called this the theme song for redemption.”

Nolan Atkins, the brains behind Amidy, is a multifaceted artist in the electronic music space. After splintering off from his career as the lead of an alt-rock band, Atkins has hit the melodic bass scene in full force as a DJ, producer, and vocalist all-in-one.

Atkin’s journey with Lost In Dreams began with his remix of Haywyre’s “Wisdom” single near the end of last year, on with his first standalone solo single, “Ever Known.” As he continues to expand his dynamic catalog with “Coming Back To You,” Amidy’s presence has become impossible to overlook. Within the last few years he’s graced some of the most revered labels in dance, including his three-track ‘Sanctuary’ EP on SLANDER’s Heaven Sent and his ubiquitous “Shadows” collab alongside Seven Lions and Wooli.

His skyrocketing profile has led to a busy tour schedule, with an upcoming stop at Academy LA with Trivecta, as well as a highly anticipated performance at the Lost In Dreams festival in Las Vegas at the end of September, sharing the bill with heavy-hitters from the likes of William Black, Madeon, Kasbo, Whethan, Audien, Hex Cougar and more.

“Coming Back To You” is a remarkable follow-up single from the melodic bass power house, and it only intensifies the separation anxiety that will be felt until the next appearance from Amidy.

Amidy’s single “Coming Back To You” is available on all platforms via Lost In Dreams Records.
