Andrew Bayer is an innovator of a whole new kind of music and that’s something everyone is aware of. After his last studio album, ‘If It Were You, We’d Never Leave’ that gathered a lot of of support, he’s out with his new album ‘In My Last Life’. It’s previewed by the single ‘Your Eyes’ featuring the Norwegian vocalist Ane Brun.
As the track begins with soothing vocals, one is surprisingly drawn into the fast tempo music which has the synths speaking pretty loud. Euphoric in its poise and consistency, it retains its vigour through the fast paced feel it gives you. Giving you a tinge of feeling that’s straight out of a rock concert, it is surely a track that will make anyone groove to it on the dance floor.
Andrew has always been amazing with his production since 2003, when he first set out on the music project Signalrunners with Alan Nimmo from Scotland. The duo produced 13 tracks together, which includes ‘Meet Me In Montauk’ and ‘These Shoulders’. With the kick start to their career coming in 2010 as they were signed up with Anjunadeep, he even debuted on Anjunadeep with ‘It’s Artificial’.
He always has believed in experimenting and often says that his break successes happened because of it. Grammy nominated through his production work with Above & Beyond, Andrew co-produced their #3 US album ‘Common Ground’’. As a versatile DJ and performer, he’s graced the stages at Madison Square Garden, Alexandra Palace, Electric Zoo and Creamfields
With a career spanning more than fifteen years, Ane Brun has proven herself as one of the most captivating artists in Scandinavia. Her previous album ‘Leave Me Breathless’ was released last October, receiving huge acclaim and admiration, as well as described by The Independent and The Irish Times as ‘exquisite’.
In June 2018, Bayer released “Immortal Lover” as a single from ‘In My Last Life’.
‘Your Eyes’ will also feature on the forthcoming album ‘In My Last Life’ set for release on August the 24th.
