Anyone who follows Armin van Buuren knows that every set of it apart from being outstanding is sure to have two elements – a powerful intro, and loads (I mean, LOADS) of mashups!
His set at Tomorrowland 2019 was no different. Using the same intro as his Ultra Europe 2019 set, Armin began the proceedings with a mesmerizing intro edit of his recent hit with Luke Bond and Karra – Revolution.
The drop of “Revolution” is so powerful that it is bound to kickstart any set on a huge note, and that allowed Armin to do what he does best, control the energy.
Another big highlight of his set, and which dropped right after “Revolution” was his mashup of the “Great Spirit” vocals with Orjan Nilsen’s smash hit, “Wait 4 It”. A huge part of his recent sets, this mashup has proven to be one of the highlights every single time, due to the catchy vocals of “Great Spirit” and the big-room drop of “Wait 4 It”.
He also played his beautiful remix of Van Halen’s “Jump”, yet another stunning mashup in the form of “Burned With Desire” Vs “Show Me Love” (also played at Ultra Europe 2019, watch the video here), the Untold Festival anthem – Something Real featuring Avian Grays & Jordan Shaw and loads more.
As has been the case since the past year so, Armin proceeded to end his set with some hardstyle, the highlight being his “Blah Blah Blah” Vs “Wild Wild Son” mashup.
All in all, it was what we have come to expect from Armin when it comes to the mainstage of big festivals. Enjoy the video below!
