Announcing her exciting new imprint, Ashibah releases transcendent debut single ‘Changes’ via her new label Fatima In Trouble.

A homage to the producer’s Middle Eastern roots, the name Fatima In Trouble stems from the Fatima’s hand necklace Ashibah would carry around as a child to dispel negative energy and attract good luck, a charm that inevitably inspired the producer’s first tattoo. The label’s sole vision is to simply share the music Ashibah loves with her community, particularly focusing on releasing emotional music you can dance to to channel joy, love, connection, and good energy.

A multi-skilled powerhouse, Ashibah blends self-recorded vocals, original writing, composition, and unique production for a transcendent and haunting sound that has seen releases on major labels like Solotoko, This Never Happened, REALM, Rule Zero, Nothing Else Matters, Anjunabeats, Sony Music, D4 D4NCE, DFTD, Kittball, Get Physical, Spinnin’ Records and more, along with Beatport Chart toppers with the likes of Vintage Culture and Nora En Pure. The DJ and producer’s rich cultural heritage as a Danish native with roots in Cairo, Egypt and a current residency in Brazil has informed a diverse and cultivated musical style that has taken the world by storm, from regular appearances at South American festivals like Lollapalooza, Rock in Rio, and Só Track Boa to performances at Ibiza’s Hii and Danny Howard’s Amnesia residency, and more. This past year saw a performance alongside Peggy Gou at Brazil’s legendary L’Occitane Theatre, live streams for DJ Mag, and the release of an official Beatport Sounds x Loopmasters sample pack, 4 E.V.E.R.

The musician now begins a fresh chapter with Fatima In Trouble, providing a taste of what’s to come with the rousing and emotional melodies of ‘Changes’. Demonstrating her exquisite vocal and production prowess, Ashibah’s latest single is a euphoric gem that draws on hypnotic synths, scintillating breakdowns, and the gorgeous high notes of a talented singer-songwriter. Already getting the seal of approval on dancefloors globally, Changes reaches into your soul and won’t let go.

Ashibah – ‘Changes’ is out 5th May via Fatima In Trouble.
