2017 has already seen brilliant new music drop from Aston Merrygold, and the trend continues with his official second single, ‘Precious’ featuring Shy Carter and Grammy Award winning beatboxer Rhazel.
The uplifting vibe of Precious is reflected in the sun-soaked video, shot in California and directed by Damien Sandoval. Nostalgic 90’s vibes are distinct, whilst Aston oozes a contemporary ‘Fresh Prince’ quality in the colourful, feel-good visual.

The track manages to combine mellow guitar grooves with his soothing vocals that are as intimate as groovy. While subtle and simple in its production, it’s Merrygold’s lyrics and spotless vocals that make ‘Precious’ so, well, precious. The official video for ‘Precious’ was shot in L.A whilst Aston was out in the U.S working on the EP. The visuals also feature American Actress and Entrepreneur Gina Rivera.
