In a teaser shared by The Weeknd as well as each of the three Swedish House Mafia members, they revealed they will be collaborating once again, this time on “Nothing Is Lost (You Give Me Strength) from the soon to be released Avatar: The Way of Water.
Set to release a day prior to the movie, the track will release on December 15th at 3pm ET, just hours before the movie takes over theaters the following day on December 16th.
After first teasing his involvement last week, today The Weeknd dropped a 45 second teaser which features a rich soundscape topped off with the rich vocals from The Weeknd. The credits on the teaser reveal that “Nothing Is Lost (You Give Me Strength)” by The Weeknd was produced by Swedish House Mafia and Simon Franglen which was also corroborated by the trio sharing the news as well.
The movie directed by James Cameron is set more than a decade after the events of the first film begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure.
