2020 will see a brand new Scooby Doo movie hit the cinemas and a widely trending trailer for it just dropped.
EDM fans immediately recognized what plays as most of the soundtrack for the trailer. Featuring Avicii and Sandro Cavazza’s “Without You” at the very moment Scooby and Shaggy meet for the very first time, we’d honestly say they couldn’t have picked a better song to encapsulate the moment.
SCOOB! is the never-before told story of Scooby-Doo’s origins along with the greatest mystery in the career of Mystery Inc. Revealing where it all began and how lifelong friends Scooby and Shaggy first met, the movie then goes on to show how they joined with young detectives Fred, Velma and Daphne to form the famous Mystery Inc. The main case of the premise entails them solving their most challenging mystery ever with a plot to unleash the ghost dog Cerberus upon the world. As they race to stop the global “dogpocalypse,” along the way they discover Scooby’s secret legacy and an epic destiny greater than anyone imagined.
With a spectacular star cast providing the voices for the characters, they have Will Forte as Shaggy, Frank Welker for Scooby, Amanda Seyfried as Daphne, Gina Rodriguez as Velma, and Zac Efron for Fred.
The movie is set to hit theaters next summer with a May 15, 2020 release!
