Dutch superstars Bassjackers and the Italian trio Sunstars have joined forces to create an all-new banger – Block. The infectious track is out now on Spinnin’ Records.

Starting off with an upbeat and dynamic vibe, and piano chords playing in the background, the track is led into a drop that is intensely energetic. With the forceful beats and sharp synth stabs, the track gives hope of nothing less than a great day at the club! Not letting you settle for a single moment, the track will surely join the leagues of the best festival bangers and don’t be surprised if it produces amazing instances of incredible crowd control.

“For us, Sunstars really stand out with their high quality producing work & fresh sound! That’s what got us excited to work with them and we both got the chance to twist our sounds a bit more than we are used to. We love the result, it has got that funky, bouncy vibe, but in the meantime, it delivers that energy we love with the right amount of aggressiveness. The perfect blend between club & festival if you ask us. Plus, we experienced it goes well into your workout playlist as well! ;)” – Bassjackers

The Bassjackers need little introduction as they have created their unique reputation in the scene, as a duo that produces hard-hitting, festival bangers.  The duo exploded onto the scene and in 2011 their dance-floor bomb ‘Mush Mush’ was picked up by Tiësto and released on his imprint Musical Freedom. This led to numerous chart-topping bangers and hit collaborations with the likes of Martin Garrix, Afrojack, KSHMR, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Dyro, R3hab, and Showtek, to name a few, as well as remixes for A-list artists including Rihanna, Enrique Iglesias, Moby, and Ne-Yo.

“We are so stoked for ‘Block’ with Bassjackers. We’ve followed them since their release ‘Mush Mush’ in 2011 on Tiesto’s Musical Freedom and having the chance to collaborate with the guys is a dream coming true!”- Sunstars

The Italian trio that is comprised of Lugi, Alberto and Andrea forms Sunstars who are pretty young in the industry. With releases on Spinnin’ Records, Hardwell’s Revealed Recordings, Nicky Romero’s Protocol, and Tiesto’s Musical Freedom, the trio continue to push new boundaries with their fresh sound. Their release ‘DYSYLM’ with Breathe Carolina already racked up 4 Million streams and was most heard track on 1001 Track-lists for 5 weeks in a row.

This cracker of a collaboration has added fuel to the career of the young trio and further plunges the Dutch duo into the ranks of the elites.

  1. While are all of these EDM/Festival type songs a lousy 2 or 3 minutes short these days?
That’s like all I see now is these dance songs that are WAY TOO SHORT!
What ever happened to having more of a good thing?
I prefer five and six minute long tracks like the underground dance music artists do.
