Bhangra X Electronic Music: Diplo makes his Bollywood debut with “Phurrr”

About 2 weeks back, Diplo revealed that he was working on a track for Shah Rukh Kahn’s upcoming movie ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’.

The wait has finally come to an end. The highly anticipated track titled ‘Phurrr’ is out now. ‘Phurr’ is a dazzling collaboration among Diplo, Pritam and Rocky Wellsetek. Adding the Hindi vocals to the track are Mohit Chauhan and Tushar Joshi.

This track features a bass-heavy tune contributed by the MDBP boss, which combines well with the Hindi vocals. With ‘Phurrr’ it is safe to say that Diplo has set foot as a winner in the Bollywood industry. A MIDI sized sneak peek of the music video is out now but the audio of the track has been released.

This is the first collaboration of Bollywood with EDM. Don’t be surprised if few months down the line, you see your favourite DJ producing for an upcoming Bollywood movie.
