Bright Light Bright Light (aka Rod Thomas) finally releases his eagerly anticipated EP Cinematography, which you can buy and stream now.
The Cinematography EP sees Rod take his twist on soundtrack classics. Rod explains that ’Choreography’ was inspired by scenes from my favourite films and written to be the soundtrack to my own ridiculous colorful film, so as a sister EP, ‘Cinematography’ is a set of covers of some of my favorite songs from cinema.
This follows the early release of tracks Maniac (from Rods beloved dance film Flashdance) and Touch Me (his take on the Cathy Dennis version) lifted from the Cinematography EP. Other reworks include Time After Time from Romy & Micheles High School Reunion and Do You Dream About Me from Mannequin. Full track listing below.
