Camo & Krooked have released ‘Good Times Bad Times / Honesty’ on Ram Records. Having made a huge step in their careers by signing onto renowned label Ram Records / BMG, Camo & Krooked have released another impressive single which shows exactly why they were signed up in the first place.
The drum & bass stalwarts had already announced their forthcoming LP in 2016, which is scheduled for release alongside Ram Records / BMG as well as the duo’s newly created Mosaik Music record label. This release is just a taste of things to come and if it is anything to go by, there is lots to look forward to.
Good Times, Bad Times and Honesty heralds the simple yet intricate style the duo are renowned for and have populated their discography with. The Viennese outfit create an irresistibly groovy Drum and Bass number with Good Times, Bad Times, filled with punchy kicks and perfectly placed percussions. The pitched down vocals also lend it a very dreamy feel and the elements scattered throughout flow in and out seamlessly. A breakdown midway through the track lends the track some dancefloor appeal, and is a perfect example of why many see the duo as one of the most diverse DnB artists around.
On the flipside, Honesty is a signing debut for Krooked, who’s never previously featured his vocal talents on a record and his first effort is very impressive indeed. There is definitely a lot more to come from the duo.
