After making his Monstercat debut last year, burgeoning dubstep producer Caster returned to the label today with his hard-hitting new single, “Shadowblade.”
Continuing the origin story of his mysterious Caster persona, “Shadowblade” soundtracks his quest for vengeance against the sorcerers who betrayed and killed him to steal his power. The pulsating trance arpeggiators, deep basses, and aggressive guitar chords reflect Caster’s dual desire to push sonic boundaries and eliminate anyone who gets in his character’s way.
Caster shares, “‘Shadowblade’ is a manifestation of me going out of my comfort zone and trying out different stuff. I really wanted to bring a lot of various genres, styles, and sounds into one thing and just do something different. I hope you will love the track as much as I do.”
