French producer Mathieu Koss has been carving himself an impressive career for the last couple of years. With his early productions supported by artists like Sam Feldt, Robin Schulz, Lost Frequencies and Martin Garrix, Mathieu was swiftly signed in 2016 to Spinnin’ Records – the perfect home for his club gems.
Mathieu’s debut release ‘Need Your Lovin’ came out in Summer 2016 and introduced Mathieu’s blend of pop and house to a wide, global audience. A beautifully catchy, deep house version of NRG’s classic ‘I Need Your Love’ (Like the Sunshine) reached #1 on the famous DMC Buzz Chart and 9th place on the UK best Club track: ‘Cool Cuts Chart’. October 2017 saw Mathieu release his biggest track so far, ‘Big Jet Plane’, a collaboration with acclaimed Brazilian DJ, Alok. Featuring the talent of fellow French vocalist Joan Alasta on this remake of Angus and Julia Stone’s global hit, ‘Big Jet Plane’ reached #1 iTunes Brazil Top 100, #1 Shazam in Brazil as well as Top 10 Airplay in Brazil, France, Belgium, Italy, Spain and many more. With such incredible support and exposure, ‘Big Jet Plane’ has earned 60 million streams on Spotify and 50 million views on YouTube so far, and the pace is not slowing down for this viral hit.
Off the back of such a phenomenal track, Mathieu is perfectly positioned to release his own original music once again. “I’ve put all of my heart into my new music and have really grown as an artist through this process,” says Mathieu. “These are all my own original tracks, full of raw emotion where I’m sharing a real message that’s important to me.
