summer season

DJ, producer but first of all a total musician (who composes and writes), Celestal is one of the new spearheads of French electro music.

Former ghost producer for other artists, he went out of the shadows with his two first own singles in 2017. Naturally and Colors got then a major airplay exposure (more than 4000 broadcasts in France) and generated 2 million audio streams in France also.

To celebrate the summer season, Celestal shares the perfect set of tunes you should have on your playlist. Stream them below.

Tracklist

1. Robin S ‘Show Me Love’

What more is there to say about Stonebridge’s gimmick that happened to be a revolutionary track. With a vocal that would make your cosong!ke. What a song!

2. Alison Limerick – Where Love Lives

This is the track that defines who I am completely, a voice so personal, so much motion in the Frankie Knuckles and David Morales remix that played it once more in Ibiza this year. It drove the whole Hard Rock Hotel Rooftop insane!

3. Daft Punk “Around The World”

When I think about this one track, what a hit! Pure genius.

4. Mousse T “Horny”

I love the electro house German era, this beat would get you immediately “horny”

5. Moloko ‘Sing It Back’

Boris Dlugosch’s remix and Rosin Murphy’s voice mixed with a little melancholy and chic gets me in the mood to dance, I love it.

6. Ultra Naté “Free”

The Basement Boys released it in 1997, the tube House Garage was exactly what the public was waiting on. This hit is what got house music on the airwaves. This chick was so stylish with her dyed short hair. It was a real magical vibe.

7. Cece Peniston ‘Finally’

This is the song that I’ve always enjoyed playing with David Morales mixing, Eric Kupper on the keys and that incredible hook.

8. De Lacy ‘Hideaway”

I’m super focused on DJs but what is there more to say on Deep Dish’s and K Klass’s remixes.

9. Swedish House Mafia “Don’t You Worry Child”

I’m super into gimmicks but this one just doesn’t go away.

10. Avicii “Wake Me Up”

This DJ was whole, he loved what he did, a risk taker when he tried going into country pop with this song but what a worldwide hit that ended up being.
