Platinum –selling DJ and producer Erick Morillo has released a remix of ‘Cocoon’ along with Harry Romero.

The original that was out in collaboration with Andrew Cole just got this fabulous remix and the vocals still sound strong, coming from Kylee Katch.

The remix seems club-ready as it turns darker and sinister compared to the original. It’s clear that Erick Morillo has done a wonderful job on this as he collaborated with the talents of Harry Romero. The track absolutely can keep the crowd hooked to it as it enthralls with some raw music exuding equally raw energy.

A perfect funky-house work on the track, mixed with smooth bass and a brilliant art of keeping the groove see-sawing makes this one ready for all kinds of parties that you may want to attend. With the pool party season just about to kick off, you’re going to dance to this one- a lot!

Harry Romero has tasted success with ‘Revolution’ released on DFTD, and the collaboration with Eli & Fur on ‘Be Somebody’. After his remix of ‘Medication’ with Jamie Jones on Subliminal, he’s now out with the current remix.

“I’m the guy pushing to change my sound from record to record…the struggle for most producers is to NOT sound the same every time, which is something not everyone can accomplish”, explains the diversely talented Harry Romero

Laced with the warm, seductive tones that Erick has become famed for over the years, ‘Cocoon’ marks the first time that the Colombian-Dominican American producer has teamed up with Canadian-born Andrew Cole, who was raised in Liverpool. The track follows Erick’s 2017 Kryder collab ‘Waves’, which also received a Harry Romero remix, and featured on Morillo’s ‘Subliminal Showcase Part 1’ album, a showcase compilation of his label’s freshest productions.

On the remix, Erick says: “”When Harry Romero and I got together in the studio, I wanted to create something old school, but with that current energy. I wanted to bring back the sound from the Masters At Work days but with a punch and keeping the Subliminal underground feel. It is definitely one of my favourite remixes.”

Best known for the instant success of his weekly ‘Sessions’ parties in New York, legendary producer Erick Morillo has hosted events like the annual road-blocking Subliminal Sessions parties in Miami at Winter Music Conference, and of course his iconic parties at Pacha Ibiza.
