Cosmic Boys are back on their label Legend, this time working in collaboration with Akki (DE).

The French duo have taken the world of techno by storm these last couple of years, and Akki (DE) is an exciting young producer currently making waves.

Blending spellbinding melodies and tantalising synth lines with explosive percussion, both are known for making compelling tracks that exude energy.

After conquering the French scene, the Cosmic Boys burst started to gain international stardom with the help of a Beatport No.1 made in collaboration with UMEK.

UMEK is someone known for his Midas touch in the studio, but the Cosmic Boys have since shown they are also gifted with the ability to make all they touch turn to gold too. Soon after the French duo charted again with another top selling techno track, but this time it was their solo remix of Mark Reeve’s “Geometric”.

Since then, the Cosmic Boys have had a string of top selling solo tracks, and it’s become a reliable expectation that their tracks will chart in the techno section of leading electronic music download stores.

Cosmic Boys’ can often be heard via their own label Legend, which along with their music has also released tracks from other scene leading producers such as Space 92.

Akki (DE) is a German artist who has released solo music on Legend in addition to working with other labels such as Spartaque’s labels Codex, but this is his first time collaborating with the Cosmic Boys.

Out on Legend, Akki (DE)’s collaborative track made with Cosmic Boys is called “Dark Places”, and it’s a perfect example of each artists exceptional talent for making peak time techno after support by the likes of Adam Beyer.

Dark Places takes its title from the captivating vocal sample that’s underpinned by thundering percussion and overlayered with the twisted euphoria of a potent synth line.
