Lauded progressive and trance producer Cressida and Monstercat Silk favourite Lumynesynth joined forces on the label today with their somber downtempo single, “Someday.”
Inspired by wishful thinking as a child, Lumynesynth turns a poignant reflection into a comforting ballad that puts her dreamy vocals on full display.
The cathartic percussion and transportive melody showcases Cressida’s musical evolution, which can also be heard under his aliases Callisto and Paul Velour. “Someday” reminds listeners that happiness is still achievable even if your youthful aspirations look different than your reality.
