Following his debut &Friends release Speaking Of Dungeons last year, rising producer Dalfie returns to Monki’s label with grooving EP ‘On And On’.
The latest of up and coming talent to make waves on the Scottish scene and beyond, alongside his production Dalfie’s DJ career spans an impressive 15 years.
From the age of 14 he was heavily influenced by his rave loving Father who used to sneak him into parties immersing him in the club scene from an early age. Listening to his Father’s mix tapes and stories Dalfie knew he wanted to be a part of this scene.
After a decade of DJing in and around Glasgow, Dalfie decided to make the progression into production which has landed him support from the likes of Kolsch, Dixon, Dusky, Skream, Andhim, Guy Gerber, George Fitzgerald, B.Traits and many more.
Fast forward to now and he’s has racked up multiple gems on tastemakers labels like Pets Recordings, Glasgow Underground, Gruvv, New Violence, Lyceme Social Club, Poster Boy Records and more whilst earning support from Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1.
Now returning to Monki’s &Friends, Dalfie gets set to add another sizzler to his catalogue with On And On. Marking two dancefloor-focused bangers built for hypnotic peak-time sets, the EP boats crisp and progressive synth work, driving kicks and wigged-out vocal chops that make for the perfect early hours, warehouse weapon.
