Did Malaa just reveal himself?

We’ve got an update on the ‘who is Malaa’ mystery and it seems pretty unexpected.

So, we’ve all heard of this mysterious new DJ on the block going by the name of Malaa. He loves bass and is signed on to Tchami’s label, ‘Confession’. He’s even set to go on tour with DJ Snake, Tchami and Mercer in April, yet we have no idea who he is!

Well Skrillex was recently hanging out in Miami with the whole ‘Pardon My French’ gang and did an OWSLA Radio x Pardon My French episode. Ofcourse with his love of snapchat he put it all up for the world to see and it got a few people excited…

Moving to conclusions too soon? We think so… Though the following tweet didn’t help as it caused more confusion.

Now I kinda feel it’s just the producers trolling us for the sake of it… I mean why go through the effort of keeping your identity a secret for so long and then suddenly remove the mask? And I’ve kinda got a point to prove that Skrillex is NOT Malaa.

The main and most obvious reason – Skrillex isn’t French. Now nowhere is it said that Malaa is French but he is currently on tour with three Frenchman on a ‘Pardon My French’ tour. That has to have some meaning… Doesn’t it?

And since we’re throwing out names for guessing who’s Malaa, here’s my selection – DJ Aazar. Yes French artist Aazar could well be Malaa Why? Well he was with the whole crew during this time. Here’s a snapshot from Skrilex’s snapchat story showing the whole ‘Pardon My French’ crew together.

Have your guess at who Malaa is. But I don’t think its Skrillex.
