What do you have to say about the excitement about a new Diplo release? Sky-rocketing? Yeah, we think so too. After the “Europa” EP earlier this year, this superstar has unveiled his dance-floor ready “Higher Ground” EP.
The release at this stage, features 4 tracks of the total of 8 tracks that have been planned for release on this EP. Diplo has made some interesting collaborations on this one as it features artists like Tove Lo, Blond:ish, Kah-Lo, and Nitti Gritti.
Starting you up with the Nitti Griiti co-produced “Hold You Tight”, Diplo has provided an extremely smooth track! Next comes the Blond:ish collab that features Kah-Lo on the vocals – “Give Dem”, which is absolutely bouncy and club-ready. This one somehow manages to exude a vintage vibe while holding a really contemporary flavour.
“Win Win” feat. Tove Lo is a stronger one as compared to the previous two. With a deep bassline, and dynamic beats, the track is perfectly set up for a sundowner. The last of the lot, “Bubble”, begins with tribal music elements before pushing you into an intense trip of bass. You really can’t get enough of this track!
