Late last year, two of Australia’s most beloved and respected electronic acts joined forces to produce an equally cinematic and compelling single in the form of ‘Strangers’.

Melding the best of Dom Dolla’s driving house textures with Mansionair’s ethereal vocal delivery, the single received rave acclaim for its ability to amplify the trademark characteristics of each artist.

Now Dom Dolla and Mansionair have looked to all corners of the globe to construct a remix package with some of the most renowned names in dance music today. With remixes coming from Flight Facilities, Will Clarke, Nora En Pure, and Tinlicker, ‘Strangers’ has been reshaped and revamped across multiple genres and moods.

Kicking off the package with Will Clarke’s mix, the UK producer and DJ has upped the tempo and implemented signature tech elements to craft a remix that evidently finds its abode on the dancefloor while also keeping the emotion of the original. Utilising striking synths and distorting the vocal at times, the remix is positioned within its own club lane, with an atmospheric breakdown only amplifying the warehouse feeling of the mix.

“Dom asked me to get on a remix for him and when I listened to ‘Strangers’ I loved the vocals.” Will explains. “Dom’s version is perfect as a dance floor slammer so I wanted to bring a different approach, a little more melodic and a more of a journey throughout the record.”

On the remixes, Dom says, “I’m so excited about these upcoming remixes and grateful to the artists who wanted to give “Strangers” their spin. For me these producers are some of the most exciting in the world at the moment, I hope you guys love the pack as much as I do”

Dolla’s final release of 2021, the original has quickly become a certified club hit, already amassing upwards of 3 million streams on Spotify alone. Last month the track’s official cinematic video was shot on and around the sun-kissed beaches of Cape Town, South Africa by renowned filmmaker Emilie Badenhorst (6black ft. Khalid ‘Seasons’).

As an instantly recognisable DJ with his unique style and a one-of-a-kind beard, Will Clarke has garnered global acclaim for past releases ‘Our Love’, a collaboration with Eli Brown which amassed 1.1 million Spotify streams, whilst his remix of RUFUS DU SOUL’s ‘No Place’ reached 1.4 million streams. He’s previously released on a number of prominent labels, including Truesoul, Abode, Relief, Drumcode and Sola. Having been nominated as the ‘Best Newcomer’ in 2016 for the annual DJ Awards in Ibiza and has also scored two Billboard Dance chart #1 hits for his remixes of U2 and Rihanna, it’s clear Will Clarke has firmly cemented his position as one of the most tastemaker artists in the scene.

One of the most respected names on the US dance circuit delivers a suitably euphoric remix of ‘Strangers’.
