The recent release from Don Diablo featuring Emeli Sandé and Gucci Mane is doing really well and there was no better time for the artist to release the official video for the track. Coming out before the producer’s VIP mix of the track and his Future XL show in Amsterdam, the video is quite interesting.
Portraying an apocalyptic theme with the story-line, the video is directed by Don himself and is produced by Hexagon Film. It shows Don landing on a strange planet, looking for the existence of life, while he receives a hologram message from Emeli who joins Don inside the space shuttle. The duo is also accompanied by the golden astronaut character of Gucci Mane, as they make their way into a war-torn setting.
This is what Don had to say about the track and the collaborations, earlier: “It’s just one of those records that needed to be absolutely perfect, from start to finish,” said Don. “I wanted to it to stand out and combine three worlds into one. A Dutch music producer, an incredible British singer-songwriter, and one of the biggest US rappers of today. I am more than proud of the final outcome and hope the music and the message of the song will motivate people to dream big and see beyond the clouds of their personal challenges.”
Having released his second album titled, FUTURE at the start of the year, the Dutch star has played at mainstages of major festivals across the globe, including Pinkpop, Creamfields, Tomorrowland, EDC, Untold festival, Parookaville, Ushuaia, Hi Ibiza & MORE! The single Survive is going strong with more than 3 million streams on Spotify and we’re sure it’ll garner millions more- powered by the video release.
