Uplifting house producer and Monstercat Silk veteran Elypsis returned to the label today with his dreamy EP, ‘Fine Lines.’
Manifested on Elypsis’ travels around Tasmania, the three-track package was inspired by the idea that each person we meet along life’s journey can offer a learning experience. The title track opens with an arrangement of atmospheric pads and emotive lyrics that look back on his past relationships.
“Dreaming Awake” and “Take Me” echo with feint chants and bright chords complementing his distinctly captivating stylings. Reminding listeners to embrace the good and the bad, ‘Fine Lines’ further cements Elypsis as one to watch in the Australian melodic house circuit.
