Amassing support from the likes of Pete Tong, Tiesto, Oliver Heldens and Don Diablo in his career so far, Lithuanian producer EMBODY now delivers his funky new single ‘Be Cool’; a smooth tropical rework of Des’ree’s 1994 classic ‘You Gotta Be’.
Lacing his interpretation of the R&B anthem with a series of melodic twists and luscious downtempo chord patterns, the release of ‘Be Cool’ follows EMBODY’s 5-track Lost & Found EP, and marks the latest step in the meteoric career of one of dance music’s fastest rising talents.
Growing up in Lithuania listening to his dad’s music collection of jazz and blues, Embody was exposed to music from an early age, having also studied classical piano at music school before discovering his love for house and techno music. Having moved to London over 4 years ago, EMBODY started his career on remixing duties, spinning a widely acclaimed cut of Lana Del Rey’s ‘Once Upon A Time’, before reworking tracks for the likes of Rudimental, John Newman, Wilkinson, and Karen Harding.
With his music appearing on MTV hit series ‘Scream’, the artist has gone on to amass over 45 million plays across his remixes and productions. ‘Be Cool’ is sure to follow suit of his previous releases, guaranteed to be a hit this summer that further showcases EMBODY’s talents.
