Fresh off introducing new label mainstay Kunal Merchant with his debut solo record, “Anokha,” rising South Asian label Indo Warehouse presents the latest addition to their roster: Ethyr.
Hailing from New Jersey and flaunting Punjabi roots, the fresh, new artist makes a poignant entrance with “Safar,” a slick fusion of tech and tribal house sprinkled with the trademark Indo Warehouse vocal flair. “Safar” is due for release on September 2nd via Indo Warehouse.
Alongside the forthcoming release announcement, Indo Warehouse is pleased to share the exciting details about the next iteration of their label showcase series: Indo Warehouse x SANYFW 2022.
Taking place on Saturday, September 10th, Indo Warehouse and South Asian New York Fashion Week (Sept 8-14, 2022) are teaming up to throw the Official SANYFW Kickoff Party in Manhattan’s vibrant Blue Midtown. When it comes to producing top-tier events that celebrate blended cultures, no one is doing it better than Kahani and his Indo Warehouse imprint.
This is slated to be the biggest Indo Warehouse event yet, boasting performances from Kahani himself, Kunal Merchant, and newcomer Ethyr. Launching during New York Fashion Week in September 2022, South Asian New York Fashion Week (SANYFW) is an innovative initiative that will bring together South Asian designers from across the world to the global fashion stage in NYC.

Divij Raj Singh – alias Ethyr’s – “Safar” is an excellent pre-cursor to Indo Warehouse’s upcoming party. The rising young artist launched his career by crafting remixes and unique edits of popular South Asian tracks and has worked his way up to releasing his own originals.
With “Safar” he introduces his forward-thinking artistic vision that centers on expansive textures and alluring percussive elements.
