Following the announcement that they will be joining rapper Silky on his UK tour this spring, FooR continue to rise with new single ‘Nights Of Our Lives’ with Wavysof via their imprint YosH.

Since their 2018 album Friends of FooR charted in the Top 10 of the Official UK Dance Charts, Southampton dance crew FooR have made waves across the UK bassline scene and beyond.

Initially instrumental in the revival of the UK garage scene, Gavin Foord, Tyrone, Aki (Bear Like), and Jon Doe (CLSM) of FooR have showcased an impressive versatility, evolving to find success across various genres and debuting garage, D&B, and donk flips of classics from Whitney Houston to Skepta to the cheers of boisterous crowds.

The group has honed their electric live skills performing across notable locations including but not limited to festivals like Creamfields, Boomtown, Nass Fest, Bass Fest, ADE, Sidewinder Festival, Bass Jam, Pier Jam, Budafest, Spring Break Festival, Isle of Wight Festival, WE ARE FSTVL and iconic venues like XOYO, Amnesia, Firefly Nightclub, Ushuaia, and Ibiza Rocks, where they shared a line up with the likes of Nathan Dawe, BRU-C, Russke, Patrick Nazemi, and more. Operating independently, FooR have launched the majority of their releases on their own labels SO, Garage Shared, GS Dubs, and YosH whilst previously landing tracks on major labels such as Warner Music and Relentless. Elsewhere, the group has remixed for the likes of Ghetts, Tinchy Stryder, Alesha Dixon, Wretch 32, Sneakbo and more.

Supported by the likes of Jauz, Holy Goof, and Skepsis, FooR have amassed global acclaim for releases like 3 Words with NME’s 2018 Emerging Artist Effie, which collected over 6M Spotify streams and support from Sarah Story, MistaJam and DJ Target on BBC Radio 1, Capital, and KISS FM, and See You In June with Ellie Evans, which has collected over 2M streams.

Meanwhile, single Fresh earned over 7M Spotify streams and featured in a Coors Light advertising campaign while their collaboration with Mollie Collins Too Bad also saw support from BBC Radio 1, demonstrating their in demand skill for a collaboration.

Elsewhere, FooR are passionate about being active in their community with their talent and development label SO Movement. So far they have sponsored and provided kits for various sports teams in Southampton, bought equipment and memberships for kids who can’t afford boxing classes, sold merch with profits going to helping upcoming artists, creatives and athletes, and even offered up their recording studios to aspiring producers.

Meanwhile, self-taught singer, rapper, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Wavysof is rapidly rising up the ranks with her signature concoction of undeniable story-telling ability and underground melodic sounds that have already seen support from BBC1XTRA and BBC Introducing. The 21-year-old Essex native already boasts extensive live experience, appearing at the Isle of Wight Festival, The Secret Garden Party Festival, Greenman Festival, and Shambala Festival in addition to supporting Will and The People on their UK tour.

FooR now enlist Wavysof to complement the trembling basslines of their latest single. A filthy D&B track filled with character, ‘Nights Of Our Lives’ swells with aggressive beats, hard-hitting breakdowns, and the bright force of Wavysof’s rich and reaching vocals for a pumped-up and agile basement sound.

Foor, Wavysof – ‘Nights Of Our Lives’ is out 10th March via Yosh.
