Following the success of her Silk Music track “From The North”, Russian producer Forty Cats is back today with her highly anticipated four-track EP, ‘Color Textures’ on Monstercat.
With over twelve years of production experience, her complex sound design has been celebrated across melodic house and techno audiences around the world. With elements of euphoric, tribal percussion and soothing atmospheric drum pads, ‘Color Textures’ is a testament to Forty Cats’ transportive style.
Forty Cats shares, “I decided to try myself in quite a new sound direction as I’ve never written anything deep house / melodic house before. The main inspiration was taken from the amazing “Burning Man” documentaries and DJ sets. “Dream Mate” is dedicated to this event specifically.”
Last year, scene shaper Lane 8 commissioned Forty Cats for a remix of his hit album track, “Don’t Let Me Go,” another nod to her craft along with continued support from artists like Paul Oakenfold, Yotto, and Ferry Corsten.
