Yorkshire artist Franky Wah has remixed ‘Therapy’, the latest single from multi-platinum-selling DJ and producer Duke Dumont, out now via Virgin EMI.

An already anthemic track, Franky Wah ramps up both the emotion and atmospherics on his remix of this piano-driven instant classic. The original has already amassed upwards of 2 million streams since its release on 17th January.

2019 was something of a breakthrough year for Franky, who has released a slew of lauded singles over the past twelve months or so. Arguably his most successful has been ‘Hide’, featuring New Zealand singer-songwriter Robinson, which became BBC Introducing ‘Track Of The Week’ on Radio 1 and has so far amassed 1.4 million combined streams. On the gig front, he has also performed at the likes of Creamfields, Hideout and the Glade Spaceport stage at Glastonbury, while he holds down a monthly slot on Data Transmission Radio.

Multi-Grammy-nominated Dumont has amassed over 2.5 billion streams across his back-catalogue of previous anthems, scoring platinum-selling UK #1 singles to timeless records such as ‘Ocean Drive’. Duke embarked on a hectic tour schedule during 2019, performing at internationally renowned festivals such as Creamfields, Ultra Korea, HARD Summer, Harbourlife and Field Day. As well as travelling across the globe, he also linked up with fellow chart-topper MK for three US shows at the tail-end of the year, in Washington DC, San Francisco and New York. Looking ahead, Duke has recently been announced to play at US premier festival Coachella 2020 as well as EDC Mexico in February.

An artist representing the new school of British dance music, Franky Wah delivers a polished rework of ‘Therapy’.
