Next week on January 27th, the highly anticipated new EP from G Jones, titled “VISIONS,” will be released in full.
Leading up to the EP, the producer has teased the project throughout 2016 with the release of five EP cuts- “Pull Up,” “Helix,” “Fuck What You Heard,” “Collision Course,” and “Lavender Town VIP.” Before we get our hands on the full EP, Jones is sharing one final track from the project aptly titled “We See It Clear.”
Following in the footsteps of the other EP singles, “We See It Clear,” explores familiar sonic territory from Jones. From spaced-out synth, a myriad of sounds effects that culminate in a sort of wonderful organized chaos, and of course, a merciless bassline, “We See It Clear” flexes Jones’ unique skill set that allows him to create outside the confines of genres.
Real name Greg Jones, the G Jones project has seen the producer clock in a number of enviable achievements in only a few short years. From high-caliber collaborations with artists including Bassnectar, Eprom, to his collaborative project with DJ Shadow on Nite School Klik, Jones has received critical praise from outlets including Rolling Stone, Billboard, Thump, Complex, Dancing Astronaut, Mass Appeal, and more. In addition, Jones has also been booked for a number of world-renowned festivals including Coachella, Symbiosis, Shambala, Burning Man, and Lightening In A Bottle- just to name a few.
Continuing on this tour circuit, Jones has also announced an extensive North American tour in support of the “VISIONS” EP. From New York to California, Jones will be playing a total of 23 tour dates kicking off in Washington DC on Wednesday, January 25th.
