Singer, songwriter and producer Genève debuts her brand-new single entitled – Orbit, available on all streaming platforms worldwide.
Taking a unique approach to dance-pop, Genève brings together a fusion of classical melodies layered upon soul-grabbing chords and unforgettable rhythms in her upcoming release.
Self-produced with effortlessly well-crafted and polished arrangements, Genève easily melds genres of ethereal electronic and pop. With hypnotic vocals, Genève entrances the listener from the very first moment, showcasing her vocal prowess with the intricate and playful melodies that intertwine with the synth production.
Originally from Germany, Genève got her start within the music industry at a young age, picking up the piano at the age of 6 and was singing even before she could talk. Growing up in a rural town in Northern California inspired her to delve deeply into her love of music, where should would constantly travel to nearby cities to watch her favorite artists perform. She began penning her own music in her early teens and at that point, was fully committed to pursue music as more than a passion, but as a career. While studying and traveling throughout Europe and Asia, including a transformational trek through the Himalayas, Genève started to take a serious interest in production on top of songwriter. After two years abroad, she made the decision to move to Los Angeles to focus solely on her music career.
Genève released her first single “Constellation” in June 2016, which quickly garnered positive feedback from listeners in every major media channel, as well as front page placements on multiple blogs. Her growth both musically and spiritually, along with her travels, helped shape her message heard throughout her music; believing it is a message that is much needed at this time, a message of hope.
Genève is currently working on her 5-song EP, which is set for release later this year.
