Riding off the success of his debut album release, ‘Time Travel’, Gigamesh is delivering a brand new music video for his single, ‘History’. With the audio premiering via Mixmag, the Damon C. Scott featured track has made the rounds in the blogosphere, charting on the Hype Machine, and turning heads with its smooth and funky finish.

The video sees actress Ruqayyah Alzona take a journey through the iconic isle of Manhattan, spreading kindness throughout the notoriously furrowed streets of NYC. Josh Johnson, the videographer, manages to capture the very essence of the fading summer, all while displaying the happiness one can bring with the simplest of good deeds. With Damon C. Scott (of Storm Queen fame) on vocals, the Big Apple was an obvious choice, as he spent years roaming the underground as a subway busker, prior to making it big in the early 2010’s.
The final product is one that aligns both lyrically and aesthetically, and makes for a short, yet impactful visualization.
