Within the past 7 months, New York City-based Berklee alumna and electronic vocalist GIIA has already established herself as a force to be reckoned with.
Ending 2016 with the BBC Radio 1 backed single “Heat of The Moment,” amassing over 1.5 million plays across streaming platforms and kicking off the new year with the Hype Machine #1 single “Brave. Today she returns with “Exhale” via Elysian Records, produced by longtime collaborators MEMBA, further anchoring her position as an artist to watch in 2017.

“Exhale” showcases GIIA’s more intimate side, pairing lush melodies with soaring vocals to create a playful anthem with elements of pop and trap. Starting her vocal career in opera, GIIA has proven single after single her ability to hit deep notes with an atmospheric feel.
Be on the look-out as she’s slated to release her single “Westworld,” inspired by the infamous TV show, and her collaboration with VOLO, “Crumble,” exploring the environment crumbling around us. Boston fans can look forward to seeing her live at Café 939 on March 11th!
