Dynamic producer and DJ Godlands continues her hot streak of genre-bending tracks with “Crashing,” out today on Monstercat Uncaged.
The record marks the third single from her EP that is arriving next month. “Crashing” carries on her upcoming EP’s narrative of her experience with Imposter Syndrome and other personal battles. Although she reworked the track multiple times, Godlands overcame feelings of self-doubt and delivered a powerful electronic record. The single puts Godlands’ versatile stylings forward in an innovative light as she injects her exploration of breaks with epic trap leads. Fans can hear Godlands’ fresh tunes from her upcoming EP live as she returns to Tomorrowland this year.
Godlands shares, “With my visuals, I wanted to show how I sometimes process the overwhelming feeling of perfection and the constant ‘devil on your shoulder’ that tends to speak up while creating music. This song had been rewritten so many times because I didn’t think it was perfect. I’m learning to ‘let it be’ and believe in myself and my skills.”
