Producer and A&R Going Quantum today joined forces with the talented duo hayve for their annihilating drum and bass banger, “Double Tap,” out on Monstercat.
Combining both of their heavy-hitting production stylings, the new collaboration takes listeners on a lethal journey filled with neuro-infused beats and unruly foghorns.
The roaring drums and haunting bassline make for a staple in every dark DJ set to come. With a year and a half in the making, “Double Tap” was well worth the wait, showcasing Going Quantum and hayve’s versatility and prowess in the drum and bass circuit.
Going Quantum shares, “From the day we started releasing hayve’s music on Monstercat I admired their technical skill and originality. Working with these guys is always a pleasure and making a track together felt like the perfect way to introduce a new chapter in the sound of Going Quantum. The record came together naturally, as we chipped away at it in between gaming sessions and late night hangouts on Discord. I can’t wait to drop the track in DJ sets for years to come!”
hayve adds, “We ventured outside of our usual sound for this one and are stoked about how things turned out. From the beginning we shared the vision of making something dark that still lends to both of our styles. We’re also very excited to team up with visual artist Audrius (@audr_im) to create the artwork that in an abstract way illustrates a few of the various meanings that could be tied to the song.”
