US-based electronic producer and saxophonist GRiZ has now announced new music after a quiet period of more than one year.

After a 6-month blackout on social media, he returned to announce two new tracks in “It Gets Better feat. DRAM” and “Can’t Get Enough”.

“It Gets Better” starts off with the chorus taking lead, set in the background of some groovy music that exudes a vintage vibe. The keyboard works blend in amazingly with the bright nature of the vocals and the laidback beats. DRAM does a brilliant job on the verses as the track pumps up your energy subtly, but quite effectively.

The second track, Can’t Get Enough sees the use of rap for the first time by GRiZ. With a classic vibe that falls somewhere between hip-hop and pop, the track creates casts its own charm. The addictive drop surprises the listener while showing the creative prowess of the producer.

Grant Kwiecinski, the 28-year-old kid from north Detroit who grew up on a healthy diet of American funk, golden-age hip-hop, and dance music; the curious producer who first
began making future-forward music during his formative years at Michigan State University, only to permanently abandon the classroom for the dance floor. As the year approaches a close, the American producer has joined forces with one of the best rappers in the industry – Grammy-nominated rapper, DRAM, for his return.

GRiZ has remained one of the leading independent artists in electronic music throughout the years, from his 2011 debut album to his breakout album Good Will Prevail (September 2016), which debuted at #1 on the iTunes Electronic chart and charted on the Billboard 200 charts—an impressive feat for a free release.

“I’m just here to spread good vibes, my friends. It all comes down to spreading the good word and sharing the love.” – GRiZ

The multi-instrumentalist producer is someone whose live show is an absolute treat and makes use of the saxophone, guitar and booming basslines to create something fantastic. The artist has performed at various major festivals like the Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza and Outside land and has also headlined at Electric Forest and Lighting in a Bottle.

He has certainly announced himself with these two tracks after the brief lull. We can’t wait to see what he’s got in store for the future!
