Hausman and Wynnwood returned to Monstercat Silk this week with their first collaborative track “Catharsis”.
Perfect for late-night drives or long study sessions, “Catharsis” drops listeners in a synthwave soundscape characterized by atmospheric pads, melodic keys, and angelic, floating vocals. The gritty bass, soft drums, and crisp percussion breathe energy into this otherworldly track, bringing positive vibes to the listening experience.
Hausman shares, “Catharsis is the first collaboration between myself and Wynnwood that we completed, which sparked many more projects that I can’t wait to share with everyone!”
Wynnwood adds, “This is the first track that Devon (Hausman) and I wrote together. The inspiration for the track came from the combination of our different styles and sounds and from being able to work together on the track in person in Boston. With “Catharsis”, we wanted to create a track with a driving central groove and an overall positive and organic vibe. We started with an initial idea and just kept building and refining the track until we were happy with the end result. We hope you enjoy it!”
