Portuguese producer/DJ Holly has today released the 3rd single from his forthcoming EP on Insomniac Records, a raucous hip-hop cut On Me featuring Gunplay and OKAY! KENJI. On Me was premiered on HipHopDX and is available to stream everywhere today.

Gunplay is in peak form on On Me, spitting braggadocious bars that are ideally suited for Holly’s hauntingly sinister production. Additional production credits come from Atlanta-based hip-hop producer OKAY! KENJI (previously known as Young Sidechain).

“Gunplay has been one of my favorite rappers since I first heard “Ghetto Symphony” in 2013. It’s crazy how I used to listen to his music before I even began making music on my own, and now we’re on the same record together. I can’t thank OKAY! KENJI enough for helping bring this track to life as well.” – Holly remarks on the collaboration

On Me is the third single that Holly has released from his new project – Alameda 1000 – slated to drop in September on Insomniac Records. Previously released singles include Till I Die featuring A$AP TyY and NXSTY (which the trio performed together at EDC Las Vegas) and Through Me. Holly has proven to be one of the most capable producers in electronic music blending frenetic bass music with rugged hip-hop, and he does not disappoint with this new collaboration with Gunplay and OKAY! KENJI.

The name of the EP – Alameda 1000 – is the postal code of Holly’s childhood home in Portugal, a reflection of the importance of Holly’s Portuguese roots in his music. Alameda 1000 will be Holly’s second EP of the year, following up May’s Avenal 2500 on Deadbeats.

Holly made his debut at Coachella and EDC Las Vegas earlier this year, and recently opened for Zeds Dead at their Red Rocks event in July. He’s gearing up to play EDC Korea on September 1st, shortly before releasing Alameda 1000 in full on September 13th.
