Indi and The Vegas have cemented themselves as a genre-bending pair that embrace old school soundscapes.

Their new tune, Fresh Head, is a delectably smooth heater that depicts the twists and turns of a modern love story.

Discovered by the iconic live aid co-founder, Midge Ure, Indi felt incomplete until he worked with his musical other half, Zaro Vega. Before combining their musical force, the guys had been recognised by BBC introducing, MTA Records collaborations as well as Vegas’ producer credits on PARTYNEXTDOOR’s album.

Together, Indi and The Vegas are known for working with artists such as James1stGen and X2 Ezequiel & Jeremiah. Notable originals from the duo have included sun obsessed Round and Round and guitar brimming Didn’t Catch Your Name.

The new single, Fresh Head, marks the fifth chapter of the exciting album release from the guys this year. It’s a celebration of love, lust and everything in between. The laidback r&b reminiscent percussion is supported by gracefully executed vocals. Representing good vibes and an intoxicatingly sleepy atmosphere, this is a personal expression of real life for good friends of Indi and The Vegas.

Indi and The Vegas says: “This track sits dead centre of the project, in the calm before and after the storm, where the whirlwind romance has culminated in a blissful, lustful oasis of tranquillity before descending into the rollercoaster of a ‘real relationship’. It’s a chilled, floaty experience, reminiscent of Afro Man and the old skool stoner beatmakers, and once again shows the band’s defiance of genre tropes. They are simply vessels for what may flow. One of only 2 collaborations on the project, the song holds a special place for the band as it features good friends Zaro Vega and James 1stGen, who take turns expressing what this honeymoon period feels like for them. Good vibes.”
