Keep On Lovin

Rising DJ J-Hamz’ has released his 8th release which comes in the form of two remixes for his hit single, Keep On Lovin.

The remixes come from Xandie and Ready Or Not and is out on Digital Empire Records. The original that came out in 2017, featured Calgary artist Jesse Peters on it and saw immense success.

The remix from Ready Or Not is one that begins with thumping beats backed by rich snares. The uplifting music backed by vocals quickly moves into a raw and highly-energetic drop. Getting brighter after the first drop, the track keeps you hooked onto it quite easily. Another intense build-up leads you into the high-octane drop that sees vocal loops, used masterfully.

Xandie’s remix begins with some heavy piano chords and muffled vocals. Gaining momentum almost instantly, the soothing vocals and continued piano melodies take the track forward. Very gently, it piles up the energy that’s needed to exude in the drop which is bright, groovy and laidback. A lovely mix that makes you groove to it without letting you take a break.

The original track gained immense support and success, helping it feature on 33 major Spotify playlists including Electronica 2017 and UK Top 40. It was also picked up by many retail/online and radio services including the likes of Hilton Hotels, Subway Restaurants, and McDonald’s and it rightly deserves it.

His previous release, I’d Do Anything featuring Edmonton actress and vocalist Michelle Molineux was nominated as for the Electronic Recording Of The Year a the Edmonton Music Awards. It also received huge radio support from college FM stations in Canada and the US. J-Hamz’ tracks have been included on 9 compilation albums to date. While mainly focused on music production, he was given the opportunity through Peep This Entertainment to DJ as one of the opening acts for Borgeous in 2016 and Ephwurd in 2017, both at Union Hall.

Upcoming projects include a music video with Michelle Molineux and Kelly Nall, which will be directed by local videographer Jason Gordon of MOBLpixl. It will only get better for J-Hamz’ as time passes with each of his releases and we are certain that he will grow into a strong force in the industry.
