US DJ and producer Jesse Perez has remixed Duke Dumont’s latest club anthem ‘The Power’, via Virgin EMI Records.

Upbeat and groove-focused, Perez’s remix trades in the original’s emotive elements for hypnotic drums and carefree vocals – whilst losing none of the undeniable dancefloor energy. The well-received original has already clocked up over 9.5million streams after being released last month.

Multi-Grammy-nominated Dumont has amassed over 2 billion streams across his back-catalogue of previous anthems, scoring huge success with platinum-selling UK #1 singles ‘Need U (100%)’ and ‘I Got U’. Duke has also produced ‘Swish Swish’ the biggest single from Katy Perry’s Prism album.

In the midst of a typically hectic schedule, Duke Dumont has performed at a slew of high-profile festivals and clubs over the past few months, from Asia to America, as well as his Las Vegas residency. With only two of his residency shows left to perform, Duke is now setting his sights to Europe, with upcoming dates in Ibiza and Barcelona, as well as UK festival favourite, Creamfields all before the end of summer.

One of the most in-demand DJs on the scene, Jesse Perez has released music via Dirtybird, Nervous Records and Hot Creations, and has remixed tracks for the likes of Richy Ahmed and Camelphat. He’s received heavy support in the dance world, including Radio 1 DJs Annie Mac, Danny Howard, Pete Tong, and Monki, with his release ‘Back & Forth’, a collaboration with DJ Sneak, garnering support from the likes of Skream, Joris Voorn, Gorgon City, Solardo and many more.

With the anthemic original already proving to be a dancefloor hit, Jesse Perez’s remix looks set to propel ‘The Power’ to new heights.
