LA-based DJ and producer JiKay has unveiled his brand-new track – Spaceships, featuring the vocals of hip-hop artist MoeRoy.
The production, which acts as the second release from JiKay’s upcoming EP (released 20th November) features a slowed tempo, and dark, brooding bassline.
Born in Nottingham, England, JiKay has already achieved a number of major accolades in his short career so far, including his remix of Keys N Krates “Dum Dee Dum” which has accumulated over 170 million plays on YouTube to date, and has been certified gold.
JiKay is also the founder of All Trap Music, a brand devoted to showcasing innovative new trap music via their YouTube channel, compilation albums and live events. After launching in July 2012, the channel grew rapidly by amassing millions of views from popular tracks from RL Grime, Flosstradamus, Baauer, UZ, and Hucci.
Featuring Moeroy, ‘Spaceships’ is laced with the punchy vocals of the hip hop star, who has been mentored by the legendary Master P, with the latter comparing his new artist to a mix between Mystikal and Michael Jackson.
A dynamic and diverse production, ‘Spaceships’ is out now and acts as an aural embodiment of the contrasting styles of both artists.
