Joseph Edmund Independence EP

Following his Circa EP earlier this year, Joseph Edmund returns to Solardo’s highly respected Sola label in the midst of a busy summer with his Independence EP.

The release also follows impressive releases like Breathe on HOTTRAXX and Numbers Falling on Steve Lawler’s VIVa Music and the new EP is looking to be another big hitter for the rising producer.

A born and bred Mancunion, Joseph Edmund began honing his production skills with regular slots at Manchester biggest underground hotspots including Gorilla and Sankey’s. Having cultivated an impressive knowledge of the dancefloor, his expertise quickly crossed over into his productions.

These flawless productions have led to huge support from Jamie Jones, landing Joseph a belting three-track EP The Pressure on his HOTRAXX label with single Breathe surpassing 1 million streams. The backing continues with heavy support from Patrick Topping and Steve Lawler and after capturing the attention of the Solardo lads, the duo can’t get enough of Joseph’s productions since debuting his Lovers EP on Sola in 2018. With another Sola release under his belt already this year with the Circa EP, latest effort Independence is his finest yet.

Translating his signature creativity through three impressive tracks, the Independence EP is filled with electrifying neuro bangers like Inception, namesake Independence which features a wobbling bassline whilst contrasting Suddah is a high-octane, underground force to reckoned with. With the tastemaker support and popular productions continuing to fly in, Joseph Edmund’s status as a rising star has been officially cemented.

Joseph Edmund – Independence EP is out now on Sola.
