Powerhouse producers JP Candela and Mosimann join forces for Protocol’s newest release in the form of “Shake It,” a tech-progressive fusion track that is primed for club play.

The familiar samples are complemented by dirty, driving basslines and puncturing synths that together create a modern vibe that will ignite dance floors around the globe. “Shake It” is Mosimann’s 6th original release on the label, while JP Candela previously released “Big Up” with Sansixto on the label after doing 4 official remixes for David Guetta.

Over the last decade, DJ and producer JP Candela has been hustling the international electronic music circuit, performing at some of the world’s most heralded venues and biggest festivals. He has been David Guetta’s preferred DJ for his notorious “F*** Me I’m Famous” parties for the last 9 seasons at Pacha Ibiza and FMIF World Tour. With previous releases on Spinnin’ Records, Defected Records, Sono Music (Armada), Ministry of Sound, Sony Music, and more, the Protocol Family welcomed JP Candela with open arms. From his early days as a famous French vocalist in the mainstream to his breakthrough to electronic music, Mosimann has cultivated a dynamic and unique sound inspired by the likes of Jean-Michel Jarre, Daft Punk, and David Guetta. His release “Never Let You Go” featuring Joe Cleere has amassed over 3 million streams, and in 2018 he was charted at #81 on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs list. Mosimann was also a judge and performer on the popular TV series The Voice Belgium for five years.
