“Phenomenon” is the long-awaited Ophelia debut of producer and singer JVNA and midtempo artist LICK.

Headline touring act JVNA struts her songwriting skills with the help of LICK’s bass sound design for a catchy melodic dance-pop track.

JVNA is a female singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist known for fusing electronic pop with melodic bass. As a graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, she’s been making waves in the electronic music sphere with forward-thinking production and raw lyricism.

Her project took off in 2018 with the release of “I’m With You”, an honest and emotive tribute to her father that captured the attention of electronic music fans around the world. She continued to grow her fanbase as she embarked on her first headline tour around the United States, performing at Soundcheck (DC), Fillmore (Denver), District (Atlanta), and more just before the pandemic caused venues to shut down.

With plenty of time in the studio during the lockdown, JVNA crafted her debut album “Hope In Chaos” which weaves through uplifting dance-pop, gritty dubstep, and rock-inspired sounds across 12 solo-produced and performed tracks. With support from major artists like ILLENIUM and Gryffin alongside a headline tour to showcase the album, she continues to make her mark on the scene and shows no signs of slowing down.

LICK is a rising midtempo bass producer based in Arizona. With a dark and established sonic identity alongside distinctive branding, he’s caught the attention of scene-leading acts Zeds Dead, Rezz, and ILLENIUM among others.

Known for his unique sound design and catchy melodies, he’s landed releases on Deadbeats, ALT:Vision, and Subsida as well as collaborations with The Glitch Mob, Whipped Cream, One True God, and Valorant to name a few. He’s taken his project around the country with shows at Concord Music Hall (Chicago), Showbox (Seattle), and Stereo Live (Houston) as he tours alongside artists such as Zeds Dead and Sullivan King. With a growing fanbase, he’s taken over stages at festivals including Lost In Dreams, HARD Summer, and Audiotistic with plenty more to come.

As the official record label of melodic dubstep leader Seven Lions, Ophelia is a label that promotes independent dance music and has been the official home for his music since 2018. In just 3 years, Ophelia has become one of the hottest new labels in electronic music thanks to its tight-knit community and ability

With massive releases from acts such as SLANDER, Excision, Kill The Noise, MitiS, Jason Ross, NGHTMRE, Wooli, Trivecta, Blastoyz, Crystal Skies and Last Heroes.
